ROXANNE
Roxanne began studying piano at age 5 and continued to play many instruments into her late teens. She was in the Church choir and was told that she was “too loud”. Must have been her love of rock and roll. She joined the Kenny McGee Band in Tampa as a keyboard player and background vocalist. Eventually she was a lead singer and keyboardist in the Sarasota based Roxband. She was in several other bands (even one country band-Bullseye Ride) before starting Black Thorn Rose. The band has changed and evolved into a high energy dance/rock band.
